About the Role
Sandy Lane is seeking a dedicated Landscapes Equipment Operator to assist with landscape and hardscape maintenance across the estate. This position reports to the Landscapes Manager and involves operating light-to-semi-heavy machinery and maintaining plant health and estate aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities

Operate landscape and construction equipment

Sign in/out equipment and report faults

Maintain lawns, plant beds, and hardscape areas

Prune, mow, edge, weed, trim, and water plants

Apply safe and effective maintenance techniques

Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning

Maintain a neat uniform and wear safety gear at all times

Follow all Health and Safety procedures

Support other landscape tasks as directed
Requirements
-
At least 1 year in a similar role at a luxury property

Experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance

Able to operate small tools and light equipment
-
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions

Valid driver’s license and Police Certificate of Character

Familiarity with health and safety protocols

Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, bend, stretch, climb, and perform strenuous outdoor work.
