Welcome to Jobs Barbados! By using our website (www.jobs.bb), you agree to the following terms. These terms are designed to protect you, us, and our growing community of job seekers and employers.

1. Who We Are

Jobs Barbados (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an online job board platform built to connect employers and job seekers in Barbados. We’re proudly powered by Job Boardly, our trusted backend provider.

2. Using the Platform

Employers

You may use the platform to:

  • Post and manage job listings
  • View basic applicant details (if applicable)
  • Promote your company or opportunities

By posting a job, you agree that:

  • The job listing is accurate, legal, and non-discriminatory
  • You have the right to publish the listing
  • You won’t post fraudulent, misleading, or harmful content

We reserve the right to review and remove listings that violate these terms or our community guidelines.

Job Seekers

You may:

  • Browse job listings
  • Apply for positions via external application links or employer contact information

By using this platform, you agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity
  • Upload or send harmful, misleading, or spam content

3. Payments & Listings

We accept payments via bank transfer only at this time. Instructions will be provided during the listing process. Listings go live after payment confirmation.

We do not currently collect or store credit card data.

All prices are listed in Barbados Dollars (BBD) and may change over time. We’ll always notify you before any pricing updates take effect.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including job listings, logos, and text.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and distribute your listing on our platform and social media channels for promotional purposes.

5. Account Management

If you create an account, you’re responsible for maintaining its security. Please let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, especially if there’s any abuse, fraud, or misuse of the platform.

6. Platform Availability

We do our best to ensure the platform is always available and secure. However, we can’t guarantee 100% uptime, and we may make updates, temporarily disable features, or perform maintenance without notice.

We’re not liable for any direct or indirect damages caused by downtime or technical issues.

7. Limitations of Liability

Jobs Barbados is not responsible for:

  • The outcome of job applications or hiring decisions
  • Interactions between employers and job seekers
  • Any damages resulting from using or being unable to use the platform

All services are provided “as is” without any warranties.

8. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. If you have an active job post, it will remain online until its expiration unless removed earlier by request.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we believe a user is violating the spirit or letter of these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be handled under local jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. If we make major changes, we’ll notify you on our site or via email. Continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms.
