Job Description
A private sector organization is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to perform repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct preventive maintenance checks and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues according to standards and specifications

Install and test new mechanical systems

Diagnose recurring mechanical problems and recommend solutions

Support the commissioning of new equipment

Perform basic welding for breakdown repairs
Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Minimum 2 years’ experience in welding, fabricating, or similar trade
-
City and Guilds Certificate in Engineering Skills
-
Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent
