About the Role
The Training and Development Manager is responsible for managing the learning and professional development initiatives across the resort. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role supports staff through skill-building, performance coaching, and leadership development while ensuring compliance with international standards like Forbes, LHW, and AAA.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct training needs assessments and develop customized programs

Design and deliver in-house training and leadership development workshops

Oversee performance appraisal process and coach departmental leaders

Coordinate third-party and overseas training arrangements

Manage training budgets, track KPIs, and generate reports for executive review

Facilitate career counseling and support tuition reimbursement programs

Develop and manage apprenticeship, trainee, and management programs

Conduct quality assurance audits tied to Forbes, AAA, and LHW standards

Lead TVET programs and cultural diversity training for international staff

Oversee Assistant Training Manager and serve as backup when needed
Requirements
-
10+ years in L&D with training design, delivery, and assessment experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Management, HR, or Hospitality (Master’s preferred)

Training certification from CIPD, ATD, or Hospitality-specific programs

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Strong data analysis and report writing capabilities

Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency

Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence at all levels

Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to operational demands
