Job Summary

In this role, you’ll lead key HR functions like recruitment, employee development, performance management, and compliance. You’ll help build a positive and productive environment for team success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships across all staff levels while providing HR guidance.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies in line with legal and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with managers for staffing needs and participate in recruitment processes.
  • Lead recruitment activities: job ads, screening, interviews, and hiring support.
  • Support employee development and learning aligned with company values.
  • Monitor performance programs and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety laws and policies.
  • Address employee complaints, conduct investigations, and offer timely solutions.
  • Participate in industrial relations matters to maintain positive employee relations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Degree or current studies in HR Management, Sociology, Psychology, or related field
    (HR experience in retail or customer-facing environment is a plus)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-first skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suites
  • High ethical standards, confidentiality, and integrity in all HR dealings
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of labour laws and employment regulations (an asset)
